Buzzing noises caused by resonance in Bluetooth speakers will seriously affect the user experience. The core causes are mainly divided into two categories: product design flaws and usage environment adjustments, which can be specifically summarized into the following four points:
1、Structural Defects of the Bluetooth Speaker Itself
If the length, width and height dimensions of the Bluetooth speaker cabinet are designed in an integer multiple ratio such as 1:2:3, the probability of resonance will be greatly increased. Meanwhile, thin cabinet panels with uneven density, or loose installation of Bluetooth speaker drivers, will also directly cause resonance. Such problems are hardware defects of the Bluetooth speaker from the factory.
2、Unstable Placement Surface
When a Bluetooth speaker is placed on uneven floors, hollow tabletops, suspended partitions or similar structures, the vibration of the speaker cabinet will drive the contact surface to vibrate synchronously, thus generating resonant buzzing noises.
3、Improper Volume and Sound Effect Parameter Settings
Turning the Bluetooth speaker volume up too high, setting excessive bass gain, or adjusting audio frequencies unreasonably will cause the speaker unit to vibrate overloadedly, exceeding the cabinet’s anti-resonance tolerance range, and thus triggering buzzing noises.
4、Placement Too Close to Hard Obstacles
When a Bluetooth speaker is placed in a corner, close to a wall or beside large furniture, sound waves will reflect quickly on hard surfaces and superimpose with the cabinet’s own vibration, eventually causing resonant noise.
